Get strong in 2024 with my 12 week program: Find Your Fit

Story Behind my Pelvic Floor Guide

3 Babies in 5 years

Postpartum body

Most of you know that I had three baby boys in 5 years, and my body changed a lot.  I gained roughly 40 pounds with each pregnancy.  For reference I'm 5'1" and typically 110 pounds.  I was able to work out consistently throughout my last pregnancy (I gave birth in May 2019).  While I lost all my pregnancy weight and felt strong and fit, there was one area that bothered me.  My core still felt weak, and I experienced leakage when running and jumping.  I did see a Pelvic Floor Specialist when I was about 4 months postpartum with my last baby.  She advised that I had a slight Diastasis Recti and gave me some exercises to do.  I followed them for a few weeks, but after getting bored, I started to do my own research and come up with my own exercises.  This was the beginning of my Pelvic Floor Strengthening Guide.  I followed the guide for the full 12 weeks earlier in 2021 and I was blown away by my results.

Embarrassing but true

Running

Its extremely embarrassing to admit this, but just to give you an idea, before completing my guide I had to run wearing a pad, and even a tampon at times.  I would always go to the bathroom beforehand, but it never seemed to help.  Even wearing a pad, my pants would be drenched after running.  I always wore black, and usually ran with a sweatshirt tied around my waist.  It was very embarrassing to say the least.  It also kept me from participating in 5 or 10K's and I thought the idea of completing a half or full marathon would be out of the question.  Even though it is a secret goal of mine.

After completing the 12 week guide my little embarrassing problem is almost entirely gone!  I no longer wear a pad or tampon, and I even run in light-colored shorts.  I cannot tell you what this has done for my confidence, it is truly life changing.  My lower abdominals are also more toned, which is a bonus, and I hardly experience low back pain anymore.

Who is my guide for?

My guide is designed for postpartum women that have been cleared to exercise by their doctor.  The guide is broken into three sections, becoming more challenging with each section.  I have put my heart and soul into this guide, and I cannot wait to share it with others.  Stay tuned for a special black Friday deal, which is when it will officially be launching.  Any questions, drop them below in the comments or shoot me an email or DM.

I hope you love it as much as I do,

Emily XX
