I get a TON of requests for my overnight oats recipe. If you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories, then you've definitely seen my oats before. This is hands down one of my favorite breakfasts, which I eat pretty much 5 days a week. I like that I can make it ahead of time, and that it is eaten cold. Super easy! I typically make 3 servings at a time, because anymore than that and I feel like it starts to get too mushy.
*Recipe makes 3 servings
- 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp ground flax seed
- 2 scoops (1 serving) Drink Orgain Chocolate protein powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup walnuts (or any nuts of your choice)
- 3 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/2 cup almond butter
Mix all of the dry ingredients, then add the almond milk. Once that is thoroughly mixed, add the almond butter. Then divide into three glass jars or containers. Enjoy!
